Lightness

“Prendete la vita con leggerezza, che leggerezza non è superficialità, ma planare sulle cose dall’alto, non avere macigni sul cuore” (I.Calvino)

Essere leggeri non è sinonimo di superficialità anzi è sinonimo di profondità. La vera arte sta nel togliere, nel ridurre all’essenziale i problemi, i pensieri, le cose. E se riusciamo a planare dall’alto, avvicinandoci con il giusto tempo, possiamo osservarli nella loro interezza scorgendone forze e difetti.

Quindi qualunque evento, cosa o persona decida di metterci alla prova, non farà altro che temprarci, rinforzarci e accrescere in noi il desiderio di una vita migliore, piena, vera. 

Ma non portiamo macigni. Lasciamoli scivolare a terra, depositiamoli al suolo. Come si fa a spiccare il volo con un macigno dentro al cuore?

Being light is not synonymous with superficiality, on the contrary, it is synonymous with depth. The real art lies in removing, in reducing problems, thoughts and things to the essentials. And if we manage to glide from above, approaching with the right time, we can observe them in their entirety, seeing their strengths and defects. 

So any event, thing or person that decide to challege ourselves, will only temper us, strengthen us and increase in us the desire for a better, full, true life. 

But we don’t have to bring boulders. Let them slide to the ground, deposit them on the ground. How do you fly with a boulder inside your heart?
